On the debut episode of the Get Hype!! Podcast, Gary and Kevin
discuss the basics of getting into fighting games. If you have ever had
trouble choosing a character, the gurus explain what to look for when
picking your warrior. They also discuss the art of mind games and how
to use it to you advantage to confuse your opponent. When it is all
said and done, you should have a basic understanding of how a fighting
game works. Not only that, but they answer one of the most important
questions out there; pad or joystick?

good shit fellas, at 1st it was a little bumpy, but that’s to be expected with the first Podcast, but after a little bit….you two got into a groove and brought up all kinds of tips for people getting into fighting games and since I consider the two of you “experts” in the genre, it was good to be able to know the approach that experts have towards fighting games…
you just needed to go deeper into the deal I had to offer ahaha….
I’m looking forward to the next podcast and a possible update to Kevin’s possible reign on SFIV…
I like the show, not bad for a launch show. Hopefully next week you guys will start getting more indept about strategies and character vs character matchups (for sf4). Also maybe a rundown of how you guys rate all the characters in the game tier wise.
Wow u guys are way to educated on these fighters lol. Street Fighter IV,Tekken 3, and Soulcaliber Iv are the only fighters I have ever played so I was hearing about alot of these other games for the first time. It was a great show and I learned to much. Gary when u get ur connection up my challenge is on the table.
