Durning the possible game of the year discussion i was real surprised no one mentioned Modern Warfare 2. It comes out around the same time much of the game of the year talk really starts up just like Uncharted 2 is going to. Also, when Roger mentioned SFIV as being his game of the year so far this year, im surprised that this didnt lead into talks of if a fighting game could possibly overall win game of the year.

Me personally I choice uncharted 2 because I love uncharted. Favorite 3rd person shooter. You can say I’m obessed. I prefer amazing single player experiences.
1st, I think this show was fantastic. It’s great to have Roger back on and the rest of the cast was just as amazing as ever. I LOL’d at the Peter Griffin and I think that the GoTY as of now discussion was interesting. Also, I forgot who said it but someone mentioned thsat it’s kind of hard choosing GoTY at this point because aside form Modern Warefare 2 and Uncharted 2, we have no real idea as to what else could be coming out this year. As of now though, I agree that RE5, Killzone, SFIV, and Punch-Out seem to be the big contenders.
My GoTY vote is for Killzone 2 as of right now. Good show guys! I love GV.

I personally think GotY will end up being between Uncharted 2, Resident Evil 5 and Infamous….
…unless something else comes out of the woodworks and shakes things up…..but that game would need to have some juice behind it to get enough recognition…
Don, Modern Warfare 2 and that rumored Mario Galaxy sequel say hi. lol
I’m not a big fan of the Call of Duty games though….and Mario Galaxy 2 would be crazy if it used Motion Plus….
I just personally think that Uncharted 2 will offer more in the gameplay aspect than Mario Galaxy 2….
but I didn’t even know a Mario galaxy 2 was being made..
I don’t know if it is Don, I’ve just heard rumors on pretty much every site from IGN to GAF that Nintendo is going to show something huge at the E3 conference whether that’s a new Galaxy or a new Zelda or even a kid Icarus game. I’m just syaing that I think ther’ll be other games that could really be strong contenders for the prize that we don’t even knw about come December.

Bioshock 2 should also be in the running for game of the year if the stories as good as the first one.
