not at all Dylan, I always encourage people to agree/disagree as long as they read the article…

you have to have thick skin to write even though we think of ourselves as more than just a “blog site”, but we’ll prove that more than talk about it…

and I appreciate you actually taking the time to read the article as there’s nothing worse than having someone come in and try to belittle your work based on the headline and 1st paragraph (or whatever you see on n4g)..

it’s difficult to find the Eye at all, but I picked up Eye of Judgement which is a better deal regardless of the crappy game included considering it’s 5 bucks cheaper and you get more out of it..

look dude, the original PSeye records at 120 FPS. that is why there is no lag when tracking the controller’s orbs. and orbs are a lot easier to track than human bodies or cards like the ones used in eye of judgment, so that is why no new hardware is needed. sony have already clearly stated that this uses the existing pseye to work. do research next time before posting garbage like this.

The Don…you’re missing an integral part of the equation. Companies clearance product ALL the time and it has no weight on future products, but simply the fact that an account cannot move product. SEARS, of all places, shouldn’t be your source to forecast rumors and hardware changes. Sony has already stated that the the motion controller prototypes use the existing PS Eye camera accessory. They’re simply clearing out BOTH SKU’s to make room for new bundle offerings such as EyePet, hitting in November.

On the other side of the coin, peripherals are moved out to clearance for things as little as package design changes. It happens all the time. I would put more than good money on the fact that when you see the Motion Controller launch next year, it’s side-by-side AND bundled with the exact same camera we have now. If Dr. Richard Marks hadn’t said it himself “…this glowing sphere that the PlayStation Eye can track.”, I might believe you, however, he directly references EXISTING tech (the PlayStation Eye), not something forthcoming…and he continues to use it throughout his original E3’09 live tech demonstration.

Sorry, but your article simply falls apart on baseless theory.

Hey yeah the guy at EB games told me there was a new one coming out when I enquired about the current one. I asked him if he was sure and he said he’d seen it and all. Apparently it’s wider and made to sit on hdtv’s better. I hope it does 720p video that’d be awesome!

An not room for a new cam, because you have to be pretty dumb to think that is why and right now stores are doing all kinds of sales to get people to buy from them. Which shows more that your so called facts are notthing more the fasle hope.
